The Wild Botanical

For those of you who love those beautiful old Victorian Botanical books and illustrations, this Wild Botanical Book is an absolute joy to create. This has been designed for you to use your own choice of threads and stitches. Once completed it has a wonderful weighty antique feel to it and really is the most perfect heirloom piece to be enjoyed for many generations to come. Because the linen pages have age to them, they are perfectly imperfect and this all adds to the enjoyment of the book.

The kit contains antique and vintage linen pages, 10 detailed botanical drawings on fine vintage linens, a beautiful hand-drawn front page, hand-drawn title and contents pages plus hand printed illustration labels and 10 brass label plates.

There is also a set of detailed photographs of each embroidery for you to follow and full instructions on how to assemble the book. A separate pack of antique and vintage lace, ribbon, braid, buttons and hand-printed fabric butterflies and dragonflies is also available to compliment this wonderful book.
