The Wild Apothecary

This is the second in my series of very special embroidered fabric journals and includes hand-drawn patterns for some of our beautiful wild plants which were used by healers and chemists in days gone by for medicinal purposes. 

This is a smaller kit than the Wild Botanical and quicker to work yet equally impressive once completed.

The kit contains antique linen pages, eight hand-drawn plants on fine vintage linens, a hand-drawn book front pattern and a title page on fine vintage linen plus hand-printed descriptions of plants medicinal properties. There is also a sheet of hand-printed butterflies on linen, linen strips for framing your embroideries, vintage thread and some embellishments.
